Your Business Expo Northampton has confirmed its free seminar programme for the 2026 event, offering practical advice for local firms when it returns to the University of Northampton on Thursday 12 February.

Running from 10am to 3pm, with a complimentary networking breakfast from 8.30am, the Expo is now in its fourth year. The event is headline sponsored by 3RS IT Solutions and Business Times Northamptonshire.

Designed for business owners and senior decision-makers, the seminar sessions focus on clear, actionable guidance across cybersecurity, branding, digital strategy and sustainability.

Cybersecurity takes centre stage

The programme opens with a cybersecurity session led by Jake Hill, head of sales at 3RS IT Solutions. His seminar, Five Free Cybersecurity Fixes Every Business Should Do This Week, outlines how most cyber attacks begin and highlights the everyday behaviours that increase risk.

Jake will also share five practical steps businesses can implement immediately, without specialist knowledge or costly software, to strengthen their protection.

Building brands that earn trust

Bryan Wright, strategy and legacy director at Yellowyoyo, will explore how brand clarity influences trust and growth. His session looks at the connection between value propositions and storytelling, and why some business messages fail to resonate.

Bryan will explain how organisations can develop brand stories that are credible, memorable and aligned with their long-term ambitions.

SEO in the AI era

Digital visibility is another key theme, with Michael Nagels, SEO strategist at Kickstart SEO, presenting SEO in the AI Age. Drawing on three decades of digital marketing experience, Michael will examine what has genuinely changed in search and what remains essential.

The session aims to help businesses cut through industry hype and make confident, informed decisions about their SEO strategy.

Sustainability and local resilience

The final seminar will be delivered by Alan Ryan, programme manager at the Northamptonshire Nature Fund. His session will focus on how businesses can support flood resilience, biodiversity and wider community wellbeing through practical local initiatives.

Kerry Lewis-Stevenson, organiser of Your Business Expo Northampton, said the programme reflects the real challenges facing companies across the county.
